Elevify ("Elevify", "we", "us", or "our") provides an online tool for creating business documents at elevify.net (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to everyone who visits our site or uses the Service, wherever you are in the world.

• Account information — your email address, used to sign you in via a magic link and to identify your account.
• Document data — the information you type into document forms (such as names, company details, amounts, and dates) so we can generate the document you request.
• Purchase information — records of plans, credit packs, and individual purchases, including amounts and dates. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Paystack — we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and to understand how it's used.
• Communications — messages you send us, for example when contacting support.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Generate the documents you request and make them available for download;
• Create, secure, and manage your account, including signing you in via magic link;
• Process payments and manage your credits or subscription;
• Send essential account communications, such as sign-in links, receipts, and service updates;
• Maintain your document history so you can access past documents from your dashboard;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
• Improve and maintain the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your documents to train AI models or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing (UK / EU users)

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, we process your information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you've signed up for), legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and improve it), and consent (where you've given it, for example for optional communications). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your session. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall usage of the site. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.

• Payment processing — Paystack, to process your payments securely;
• Infrastructure and hosting providers — to run the Service and store your account data (including database hosting on Google Cloud infrastructure);

• Legal and compliance — where required to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Elevify, our users, or others.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International data transfers

Elevify is used by people around the world, and the infrastructure providers we rely on may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Data retention

We retain your account information and document history for as long as your account remains active, so you can access past documents from your dashboard. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as payment records) for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your account and personal information;
